Pennsylvania to Lower Workers' Comp Rates

For a second consecutive year businesses in Pennsylvania will see a reduction in their workers' compensation  premiums. Workers' compensation injuries can be costly to business both in insurance premiums but also in company morale, lost productivity, and affect the overall company culture.

Companies have been more pro-active in recent years by providing injury management programs such as triage and actively directing medical management to help injured workers early in their recovery. Wellness programs to prevent injuries and safer work practices have definitely benefited both employer and employee.

With health care costs rising at an alarming rate along with higher wages and a competitive business environment, companies need to keep the valuable employees they have and keep them healthy. Having a good injury management program will only help to retain employees and create a culture that their company cares about the health and well being of their biggest investment.... their people.
